Ben Yehuda Café & Pizzeria is certified Kosher by the Vaad Harabanim of Greater Washington. This rabbinical council is the only organization of Orthodox Rabbis in the Metropolitan Washington area.

All food prepared on premises (including both the soft and hard ice creams) are Cholev Yisroel. We do however make available prepackaged products (e.g. salad dressing, coffee creamers) that are Kosher dairy but not Cholev Yisroel. These products are clearly labeled as such.

Our pizzas (including whole wheat), calzones, stromboli’s, panini’s, white wraps, and fried dough are Pas Yisroel, and Yoshon. We purchase our rolls, bread, and whole wheat wraps from a local bakery. They are certified Kosher from the Kof K, however they are not Pas Yisroel/Yoshon.
